On May 18th, 2016 Lincoln high school Journalism class had their end of the year journalism award banquet. Both Voz Latina, run by the Translation and Interpretation class taught by Ileana Straus, and Lincoln Lion Tales, advised by Ryan Alpers, came together and shared their most memorable memories and the most challenging stories through out the year.

Ms. Straus hosted the banquet in the Media Center for all journalists and translators and recognized every reporter and translator in journalism and the translation class. Many students had a lot to say about their year in journalism and Voz Latina.

The video is an excerpt of that discussion.
