Club Spotlight: Getting Glamourous with the Beauty Bugs
The Beauty Bugs Club was just created last year making this year its second year. Monica Delgado is the president and Ms. Thai is the adviser. They meet every Wednesday at lunch in room C. The Club Beauty Bugs is a club here at Lincoln that teaches students about makeup. However, it´s not all about makeup—it´s also about skincare in general.
During the meeting they will learn things and will take what they learn and participate in mini makeup challenges. They will be given a theme and they will create a look based on it. Ms. Thai, with the help of others, will choose a winner and the winner will receive a prize.
A very convenient thing about this club is that it adjusts to anyone’s schedule. If for some reason you are not able to make it to the meeting you will be able to catch up on what they learned through the Beauty Bugs Instagram account. All the material covered will be posted there as well as makeup entries that students post.
Anyone is welcome to join and it is a safe zone! Monica Delgado said, “It is mostly to showcase everyone’s hard work and creativity!”
