December, one of the coldest months of  the year, a month of giving and celebrating with family and  friends. This December Lincoln High School will be hosting many different events, such as the Winter Concert to celebrate during this holiday season!

Lincoln Week of Giving:

  • Monday, December 12 – Friday, December 16  is the spirit of gift giving

Lincoln Winter concerts:

  • Choir Winter Concert: Mon, December 12 from 7pm – 9pm, at the Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1100 Shasta Avenue, San Jose (map)
  • Orchestra Winter Concert: Wed, December 14, 7:30pm – 9:30pm at the Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1100 Shasta Avenue, San Jose (map)
  • Band Winter Concert: Thus, December 15, 7:30pm – 9:30pm, in the SJSU Music Concert Hall (map)

There will also be plenty of out-of-school events, such as WinterFest, where you can ice skate in front of the iconic carousel, watch the magnificent light displays, take a walk through Santa’s workshop, and enjoy a nightly tree lighting ceremony. WinterFest will be held November 25th-27th, and December 2nd-4th; 9th-11th; 16th-23rd; and 26th-30th. (To plan visits )

Another big December event that’s held in the Bay Area is the “Symphony Silicon Valley Presents: The Nutcracker.” The Moscow ballet will perform this holiday classic at the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts at 255 S. Almaden Boulevard. For dates and times, click here

Downtown San Jose is going to be decked out with Christmas holiday decorations and cheers. Plaza de Cesar Chavez will once again be hosting Christmas in the Park, which runs from November 25th, 2016 to January 1st, 2017. Downtown San Jose will also be hosting Downtown on Ice, which will last from November 29th, 2016 to January 16th, 2017.
