Daylight Saving Time (DST) is the practice of setting the clocks forward 1 hour from standard time during the summer months, and back again in the fall, in order to make better use of natural daylight.
Daylight Savings 2017 in California began at 2:00 am on Sunday, March 12.
Every year it affects many people in different ways,
Some being:
Loss of sleep
Showing up late to an event
Feeling like its early but it’s late
Tiredness

“It didn’t affect me immediately but on Monday when I came home from school I felt drained and took a 3 hour nap” – Madison Gross

“So I have a clock in my room and that doesn’t change automatically like my phone and when I woke up I thought I had an hour before I had to be up and out of my house so I slept and was late to where I had to be” -Gabriella Rivera
“I’ve noticed I’m more tired at the end of they day and I’m always looking forward to sleep” -Michael Rodriguez
“I feel like I never get enough sleep and I am always tired as soon as I’m up” – Brianna Gonzalez
“Ever since the time changed I’ve noticed myself more tired after school and wanting to take naps as soon as I get home, the longest I took a nap this week was 2 hours so yeah, time change has affected my sleeping schedule” – Aryana Rivera
