“Squad,” “finna,” “slapper.” Often times it seems as if teens speak their own language that many adults do not dare to understand. Similarly, many students stare blankly at the vocabulary lists handed out by teachers with the hope that they will never encounter those overly complicated words in real life. In an effort to clear things up for both sides, Lion Tales asked students and teachers to define popular slang terms as well as words that appear on the SAT. The results may surprise you.
