Financial Aid Family Night Coming Thursday 1/21

(Noel Ramirez/Lincoln Lion Tales)

Are you interested in receiving free money for college? If so, FAFSA(Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is able to assist you with the help you need. For information on what is required to apply for FAFSA go to the Financial Aid Family Night on Thursday, January 21st, from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm. It will be held in the Main Gym for English speakers, and in the Media Center and Room 43 for Spanish speakers. You may also be able to ask questions on anything that is unclear to you.

For students:

  • When going onto the FAFSA website, do NOT go to Fafsa.com, it requires you to pay and FAFSA is a free application. Instead go to https://fafsa.ed.gov.
  • When on the website remember make your FSA ID first, it is a 20-30 minute process.
  • The website should be able to assist you in filling out the form.

NOTE: If you are a DACA student you will not be eligible for federal financial aid, however you will be eligible for state or college financial aid. More information will be provided on that on Financial Aid Family Night.

So, remember to attend the event!
