With prom coming up on May 14th, at San Jose Marriott dinner will not be provided. Lion Tales found some delicious dinner and desserts spots near downtown that will start off your night just right. We picked some of these places because they’re delicious and affordable!

1. Original Joe’s – This restaurant has a variety of yummy foods for any of your cravings.
2. Johnny Rockets – If you’re craving delicious affordable burgers this would be the ideal place.
3. Spaghetti Factory – Come here if you want spaghetti or different types of pasta.
4. Sonoma Chicken Coop – Another pasta place that is very good and affordable.
5. Flames – Looking for another place with different variety of foods come here.
6. Blush – One of the closest places nearby to get good sushi.
7. Naglee Park Garage – Though we haven’t been to this restaurant, we have heard many great reviews.
8. B&J’s – This restaurant would be a nice place to go for a great dinner and dessert (especially the pizookies).

And you can’t forget dessert! Here are some yummy places downtown.

1. C.R.E.A.M – If you’re looking for a great place to satisfy your sweet tooth with your own creation, this is the place to go.
2. My Milkshake – Stop by before or after to personalize your own milkshake to your liking.
3. Ben & Jerry’s – You can never go wrong with some classic Ben & Jerry’s ice cream.
