Pet of the Week 17: Callie

Pet of the Week is shouting out Callie, a pit bull who belongs to a Lincoln Sophomore, Sara Griffin. Sara has a statement about pit bulls:

“Everyone always thinks pit bulls are super scary and dangerous, but that is absolutely not true! In fact, the day we got our kitten, Callie was actually the scared one, she was afraid of the little cat at the time. Pit bulls are not evil dogs, they’re actually extremely sweet and lovable dogs when you get to know them, and I think it’s time we changed the stereotype about pit bulls and give them the love they deserve.”

What I believe Sara is saying, 7 that we shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. We should shouldn’t believe the things that we always hear around us because there’s that 50% chance that it’s a lie, and rumors spread like fire. To add on, Callie here looks like a harmless loving companion, not a monstrous dog. If you want to know more facts about pit bulls visit this website about Pit Bulls, they have interesting knowledge like a basic over view on pit bulls and what their purpose is supposed to be.
