There are so many new and great clubs this new school year! If you’re looking to join, keep reading…
Club day will be occurring September 13th, during lunch; all Lincoln clubs will be out in the quad. Go walk around and learn about all the different clubs we have. If you like art, go join an art club like National Art Honor Society!
By joining clubs you make new friends and have a chance to be a part of something you like, with tons of others who like it too. We have clubs for everyone, but if you do the impossible and you don’t encounter a club you like, you can start your own club as a senior next year!
Here is some information on some of the many clubs Lincoln has.
Latinos United is currently a club that meets every Thursday at lunch, in room 21. Latinos United is a club where any Latino can feel empowered, supported, and could receive leadership opportunities.
Another club we have is Youth Led by Christ which will start meeting every Wednesday during lunch in room 14 starting September 20th. Youth Led by Christ is a club for Christians and newcomers to learn about having a relationship with Jesus Christ.
If you love to dance, we have the LHD club which is exactly where you should be if dancing is your favorite hobby. LHD meets every Thursday during lunch. Improving in dance and learning to make up your own dance moves is what LHD is for.
Aspiring make-up gurus can join the Cosmetology: Beauty Bugs club. Beauty Bugs meets every Wednesday at lunch. You can stay up to date with the latest make-up trends and techniques.
Club Interact is all about helping local and international communities. Interact meets every Monday at lunch. This club contributes to global issues such as human trafficking and world hunger by raising money.
If you are looking to do more volunteer work and be a part of your community, Key Club is the club for you. Key club meets every Tuesday at lunch. You also get to meet and work with other local key clubs.
Oui Oui French Club is one of the oldest clubs on campus that is all about spreading French culture. French club does not have a set date of meetings but they will be during lunch and after school. One of the many activities that this club has is French movie nights and potlucks.
We have so many more clubs to choose from, so don’t forget to come by September 13th during lunch and meet the many exciting groups of people that manage the clubs for club day!
