The Latinos Unidos Club was made to inspire members of the Lincoln community to be more proud of being “Latinos.” Latinos are people of Latin American origin or descent.

The club meetings are held every Thursday during lunch in room 21. The club is all about participation in making the Latino community bigger. You don’t have to be a Latino to join the club.

The leaders of the club are President Leilani Lopez, Vice President Elvia Valenzuela, Secretary Andrea Guerra, Treasurer Lorryann Martinez, and teacher advisor Ms.Perez. Both the leaders and students are there to help Latinos empower themselves and help their voices be heard. This club does a lot for our Latino community. Like on November 2nd for Day of the Dead during 3rd period, advisory, lunch, and 5th period, Latinos Unidos sold pan dulce in the quad. They also made an alter so students can remember their loved ones that have passed.
