The Friday Night Live Club is one of many organizations on campus, and the president of the club, senior Paulyne Youri, hopes to spread a positive message to the students of Lincoln.

¨The club meets every Friday during lunch in room 73, which is Mr. Ken Pringle’s classroom,¨ said Paulyne. ¨It is a county-affiliated organization that works with youth by bringing awareness to the effects of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. It also discusses topics such as traffic safety to create a safer place for youth.¨

¨Something students should know about Friday Night Live is that community service hours are given to members because they constantly work on projects to better our community,¨ said Paulyne. ¨A few of those projects include road watch days, surveying youth and adults in the community, and providing knowledge on the effects of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs.¨

Offering solutions for ways to maintain a safe environment for youth is the club’s main goal. Friday Night Live also looks fantastic on college applications because all members take leadership roles in becoming active members of their community, so come to the next meeting to join and make the streets a safer place! If you are interested in participating in FNL, come to room 73 during lunch on every Friday.
