The Lincoln High School choirs have taken on the task of running a Thanksgiving food drive. Choir teacher Ms.Katemopoulos’s website states, “Be the change you wish to see in the world…donate so that a Lincoln family in need can have a meal on Thanksgiving Day.”

Ms.Katemopolous stated, “I was so upset with the details the election I had to do something positive.” She then decided to have her students bring in food items or gift cards to her room between November 21 – November 23. Ms.Katemopoulos is striving to feed 50 Lincoln families.

The choirs, alumni, faculty, and many more have contributed to this wonderful cause that will bring joy to these families. She also stated how ecstatic she is by the generosity of the community members who helped these families in need. She also plans to help out during Lincoln’s Annual Spirit of Giving campaign during December!
