For the past week I’ve been asking freshman and higher grades how they feel about their Lincoln experience, how they fit in with their classes and the environment around them at school, and how they feel about going to school every day. I also asked some kids what they don’t like about Lincoln. Here’s some students i talked to overtime.

Ramiro Rodriguez (Sophomore) – “I think Lincoln is one of the best schools I’ve been to, and I love all my classes. My teachers help me through the ups and downs either with classwork or homework, or if I need help with home work I can always go after school to the homework center and get my work done.” Ramiro also said that “there’s a lot of cool teachers and students that you can meet at Lincoln”. Some negatives things that he told me were that he gets annoyed when the students in his class start to talk and won’t stop.

Chris Lawrence- (Sophomore) – “all my classes are fun because I have flexible time doing work and having fun while doing it and my teachers give me help when I ask for it. Chris also said that the things that he doesn’t like about Lincoln are walking from class to class.

David Rodriquez (Freshman) – ” The thing I like about Lincoln is the spirit that everyone brings when they come to school”.

As a sophomore, here’s why I myself like Lincoln. Last year when I was a freshmen I really got a liking to Lincoln because my friends were here, my teachers and classes were really fun, and my teachers understood what I needed to do. I got a lot of help from my teachers and my freshmen year was probably my favorite school year of my life. After the school year, I moved and my mom ask me how much do I like Lincoln. I told her I can’t leave Lincoln, I have a bond with San Jose Unified School District and I told her if I changed schools I wouldn’t have friends in the new school. She wanted me to go to but then she thought again and told me, “Dimitri if you’re gonna go to Lincoln i need you up very early” I told her, Early is my last name. She decided to leave me at Lincoln because she knows how much I like it here.
