Acting Randomly Kind: ARK Week Preview

Stay tuned for ARK Week: a whole week dedicated to the spread of love and kindness! ARK (Acts of Random Kindness) Week is where Lions will get the chance to show their appreciation for other students and staff at Lincoln.

It will be from Monday, February 13 through Friday, February 17. At lunch there will be a stand where students can send any note to any student, it can either be anonymous or not. On Wednesday however, it’s Teacher Appreciation Day, and students will get the opportunity to thank their educators. It doesn’t necessarily have to be your own teacher, but any teacher on campus.

Last year, they gave out popcorn and cotton candy for FREE to anyone who came by. Also, a teddy bear containing a positive message on the tag was passed around school. If you received the teddy bear then you were asked to pass it on to someone who inspired you.

Overall, ARK Week is a great way to spread the kindness coming from both students and staffs.

When asked what the reason behind ARK Week was, Activities Director Kelly Phillips, responded, “To show kindness and remember that we are all human beings.”
