Kindness Within You: ARK Week Recap
It’s the little things that make life great, and small acts of kindness are just one way to brighten someone’s day. To put a spotlight on the awesome students at Lincoln, ASB helped set up a series of ARK-related activities for students to participate in. This year, ARK (Acts of Random Kindness) Week once again turned out to be a success!
ARK Week was recently held on the week of February, Monday 13 through February, Friday 17 at the quad during lunch. It was a great time to celebrate since it was right before a weeklong vacation, so students were able to send some kind messages to their friends before going on break.
A special stand was set up for the students so they could come by and write their notes. An abundance of students stopped by to show their appreciation. Some even wrote more then one positive note to send off.
Around school, students may have noticed new decorations. In the hall of the main building, a colorful array of small hearts was used to create a larger collage. These hearts were filled with nice statements written by the students of Lincoln.
Overall, ARK Week was a great way to share kindness to others.
