FOOTBALL: Lions Lose to Piedmont in Final Home Game/End of Schedule Released

The Lincoln Lions and the Piedmont Hills Pirates brawled out as it was Lions final home game of the season. Both teams showed great running and passing game, as both teams showed a great defensive game. As Lions did fall short in their last home game in the final seconds to the Piedmont Pirates on Friday October 26,2017 with a score of 42-35.

With Lions coming short over Piedmont Hills they’re now 2-6 in the season. Lions successful at their final home game in rushing as they gained up to 341 yards total but had one attempt at passing and failed. With the Lions final game of the season coming up this week against the Leigh Longhorns they look to put in the final touches to they’re “A” League season.

Due to the recent Sonoma Country Fire, Lions have had to push out the Little Bone game as the date is now on November 16, 2017 which will still be held at Lincoln high at 5pm.

After fantastic running by #31 Adam Arenas he was able to punch in a Lions Touchdown

Lions able to do a quick 3 and out, they were able to score but still trial Piedmont 42-35

The Lions move on to a record of 2-6 in the season as they fall to Piedmont Hills Pirate 42-35

Friday, November 3rd, the Lincoln Lions will be playing away against the Leigh Longhorns at 7pm for their last game of the season! Come out and support!
