This year’s “People’s Choice Awards” was probably the greatest award show to see this awards season. Many actors were recognized for their great talent in a movie or show that was released within the last few months along with musicians who were nominated/awarded for their aptitude in music.

Actors from well known cable television shows such as, “The Walking Dead,” “Girls,” “The Vampire Diaries,” And “The Crazy Ones,” are just a few of the actors that took part in the show and left the ceremony with an award in their hand.

A few videos and favorite songs were also nominated to an award. Katy Perry’s “Roar” music video was rewarded for “Favorite Song” out of 4 others. Britney Spears took an award for “Favorite Pop Singer,” while  Ariana Grande took an award for “Favorite Breakout Artist.” The beloved Justin Timberlake took an award for “Favorite Male Artist,” he went up against Bruno Mars, Avicii, Blake Shelton, And Michael Bublé.  For “Favorite Female Artist,” Demi Lovato was the final runner up; Lovato went up against Spears, Perry, P!nk, And Selena Gomez.

For “Best Horror Movie” “Carrie” took an award. The other contending horror movies were, The Conjuring, Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, Insidious: Chapter 2, and Mama.

The well known show, “Breaking Bad” was awarded for “Favorite Series we miss the most.” This show had leading contestants Dexter, The Office, 30 Rock, and The Fringe. The Walking Dead  also won for “Favorite Cable TV Drama.” The Walking Dead’s main character,  Andrew Lincoln was recognized for Favorite Anti-Hero “Rick Grimes.” 

This year’s “Peoples Choice Awards” was better than last year. Audiences hope next year’s will be the same or even funnier with many more memories.
