“Cyberbully”
PTSA Speaker Series presents “Cyberbully” in the media center on Jan. 27 from 6-9 pm. All students are welcome to come and are allowed to bring siblings, family and friends.
Come out and watch the movie “Cyberbully” and stay for the conversation surrounding this important issue.
“Cyberbully” is a movie starring Emily Osment playing the role of Taylor Hillridge. Hillridge receives a laptop for her seventeenth birthday and then she soon finds herself as a victim of cyber-bullying. Students at school write horrible comments about her and she becomes afraid to face any students at school. Hillridge faces a lot of emotional problems and has to deal with a lot of friends issues. Eventually, she realizes she is in a better position that the culprits and chooses to stand up against the bullies.
Lincoln students are recommended to come watch this film to learn more about cyber-bullying and how to deal with it. There will be a discussion after the film to discuss bullying and other issues surrounding online social media use.
