California Cash for College has your answer.
What: The Cash for College program is a state-funded initiative to help seniors to fill out their Free Applications for Federal Student Aid, or (FAFSA).
Where: In the Media Centre
When: Wednesday, February 12th from 3-7pm
There is also a $1000 scholarship available for attending seniors who: submit a FAFSA or California Dream Act Application, complete an exit survey and submit their verified Cal Grant GPA. More information can be found at the Career Center, or at calgrants.org
Here’s the release from the College and Career Center:
The CA$H 4 College event will be an excellent opportunity for students to get their FAFSA or Dream Act Application done. There will be several trained volunteers helping students fill out their financial aid applications, this workshop is open to the public.
The drop in clinic will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, between 3-7pm in the library/media center. All students that attend will be eligible to win a $1,000 scholarship! Families should come prepared with their current tax information and banking records. Have students come to room 20 or the career center with any questions. Thank you again for your support!
