Welcome Back Lions!
Hey Lincoln Lions! Good to see you for another year, welcoming class of 2023 and saying goodbye to our class of 2020. Over the summer, roads were paved in the staff parking lot and room numbers were changed. The basement rooms start with “B”, main floor classrooms are 100’s and upstairs are the 200’s.
Lincoln is coming in hot with our first football game this Friday at 6:30pm, the jamboree at Gunderson High School (Don’t forget its a $5 entry fee!). Senior sunrise is also this Friday from 6am-7:15am. Feel free to bring blankets and food!
Back to school night will be on Thursday the 29th at 5:00pm, bring a family member and be ready to pick up your lockers! Also, IC (infinite campus), will be live and available to check grades on Friday the 10th.
Auditions for Lincoln’s drama departments play “Matilda”, starts August 26 and ends on August 28th. Sign up at lhsdramahall.com, and meet in the drama hall right after school and prepare yourself to sing!
Come out to support your fall sports teams! Those include football, girls volleyball, girls tennis, boys and girls water polo, girls golf and cross country. All of their schedules are online at lincoln.sjusd.org under calendar.
Anjanai Vallez and I, Ariana Noble, will be the co-editors of this years newspaper, find us around school if you have any questions or requests!
Do you have a story idea for us? Contact us on Twitter at “@LHSliontales”, we look forward to hearing from you!
Lets hope for another great school year! Go Lions!
