Miley Cyrus Comes to San Jose
The famous Miley Cyrus stopped in San Jose on February 25th for her “Bangerz Tour.” With Cyrus’ new look and attitude many people did not know what to expect, however the pop star did not disappoint her audience!
The Bangerz concert was opened up by Sky Ferreira and Icona Pop at 7 pm. Both of the opening acts got the crowd pumped up. It was only after Icona Pop’s performance on their well known single, “I Love It,” Cyrus made her appearance.
Anyone who knows about Cyrus was aware that her entrance would be anything but ordinary. The singer slid in on a giant tongue coming out of huge photo of herself as she sang “Bangerz.” For the next couple of songs, Cyrus danced with her background performers known as “little people,” threw money on stage, released balloons for the crowd to enjoy, and showed amazing animations in the background of all her songs and flew around on a giant hot dog.
The concert ran smoothly up until when Cyrus had a stage switch for the acoustic songs, “Hey Ya” and “Jolene.” She moved to the stage towards the back of the floor and the crowd was loving every moment of it. After the acoustic performance Cyrus made her way to the main stage and continued on with the concert. A huge shock hit all the fans and audience members when the pop star sang two of her old, but most loved songs, “Can’t be Tamed” and “Party in the USA.”
“Can’t be Tamed” was accompanied by a ginormous wolf statue with glowing eyes and “Party in the USA” closed out the concert. As Cyrus sang in her cowgirl getup, confetti rained everywhere making a perfect ending to the night.
