New Senior Night Slated for May 29th

Seniors bond at the first spirit week of the school year. This upcoming senior night will be one of the last chances for all seniors to get together and hang out.

After the first Senior Night was cancelled due to not enough people paying their money by the deadline, Gear Up is proud to sponsor a new Senior Night.

The new Senior Night will be taking place on May 29th, which is the last day for all Seniors attending Lincoln High School. The ASB team decided to host the Senior Night on the last day so that we can all gather up before our Graduation, which is on June 4th, 2014. It’s a day to make memories, hang out, and most importantly, have a great time.

Gear Up has funded and will be providing a food catered movie night. It will feature Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, a classic movie that came out in the late 1980s. There will be a variety of snacks for all the Seniors. We hope to have a memorable Senior Night, and also to have all Seniors out there on May 29th. A location is yet to be officially announced, but the event will likely be held outside with a projector, possibly on the basketball courts.

There is no cost to this event; it is free of charge. And who wouldn’t want to enjoy watching a movie, having a great time with fellow peers, and eating free food?

It seems so unreal that we only have a couple more weeks left, and that we will all be going our separate ways to continue to be successful in the long run. It will be bittersweet for all the Seniors to gather up to watch a movie and hang out together for one of the last times.
