Senior Showcase this Thursday

The Class of 2014 will be featured for the final time in Lincoln’s annual Senior Showcase this Thursday, May 1st.

“It’s going to be very different from the other senior showcases because we’re gonna play some free jazz,” said George Vargas. “It’s not just one genre of music, it’s a combination of people performing solo concert etudes and people singing before they leave high school,” he added.

Seniors can possibly obtain scholarship opportunities for their performances if they sign up beforehand.

Tickets cost $5.00 for general admission and just $3.00 for students. All proceeds will benefit the Tri-M Music Honor Society Scholarship Fund and the Donae James Johnican Memorial Scholarship Fund.
