Dorrin Akbari, Editor
Dorrin Akbari is a senior at Lincoln High School. She was born in Iran and moved to the United States when she was seven years old. Dorrin has always been passionate about writing, from spending time in the newsroom watching her mom write for a Persian newspaper when she was younger to now taking on the role of a reporter herself, covering the Community beat of the Lincoln Lion Tales. In her spare time, she makes her case in Mock Trial, harmonizes with her classmates in Choir, and plays the piano and ukulele. Even though she’s a busy girl, she still has time for her favorite TV show, My Mad Fat Diary, and favorite movie, Donnie Darko. When she gets out of high school, she hopes to study Engineering, but in the meantime, she’s excited to see what Journalism has to offer.
