Lion Pride Cards Recognize Student Success
Do you have what it takes to earn a Lion Pride card? Do you work hard, participate well in class, or help others?
This year, Lincoln’s “Do Right Committee” introduced Lion Pride cards. A Lion Pride card is a way for teachers and administrators to recognize students for doing well in class or achieving above standards.
Recently, some students listed below have been recognized for outstanding leadership and following Lincoln’s motto: “Do Right.”
Elizabeth Saravia and Gissela Samano have been given Lion Pride cards for outstanding leadership.
Samano said, “Do Right cards make me feel good about myself and when I receive a Do Right card, I feel like I’m representing my school or my class… I want someone else to receive a Do Right card and feel confident about themselves just as I did.”
Enrique Herrera, Omar Velasquez, Hazel Stange, Jazmin Chavez, Anna Ortiz and Mikayla Ehresman were each also recognized with a Lion Pride card.
Velasquez said, “I would earn another Do Right card by being nice, doing the right thing, being myself, and having my head high.”
He added, “When I received a Do Right card, I was stunned, amazed and inspired to keep following the Do Right motto.”
More information about Lion Pride cards will be coming your way soon.
