On Saturday Nov. 15, 2014, Foothill College, Silicon Valley Career Technical Education Center, and Evergreen Valley College are holding a free College & Career Conference. This event will be held at Silicon Valley Career Technical Education Center from 8am to 3pm.

The main purpose of this conference is to help high school and ROP students and their parents plan for college and gain new opportunities. At the conference there will be three workshops offered: Career Pathways 2 and 4- year colleges, Financial Planning & Resources for College, and What to Do Now to Get Ready. Other activities will include student speakers, a student panel, continental breakfast, lunch, and a Resource & Information Fair. Spanish translation will be provided at all workshops. The conference is limited to 200 participants (students and parents). Supervised activities for younger children who attend with their family will be provided.
