Holiday Trips, Holiday Relaxation, Holiday Pickles!
Around this time of year, many families gather together to celebrate the holidays and create memories. Some of those created memories turn into traditions. Lion Tales asked Lincoln students, “What are some traditions you and your family have during the holidays?”
Junior Keianna-Lynne Hoshi and her family like to celebrate by playing games with cool rewards. Keianna tells us, “We hide a pickle ornament in the tree and whoever finds it first gets an extra present Christmas morning.” Others, like sophomore Carolina Evaristo Hernandez and her family, like to “go out of town and visit family.”
Junior Allison Reich and her family “go to Lake Tahoe, that’s pretty much it.” But other families just like to relax and enjoy the time they have together. Senior Johnny Montufar said that he enjoys going “out to have family times, make memories. Try to enjoy ourselves basically.”
Whatever students choose to do during the holidays, at least they won’t have to worry about finals.
