After a 5-0 win in the first preseason game against the Del Mar Dons and a 5-1 win against Mt. Pleasant in the second game, the Lady Lions continue to prepare for the upcoming 2019-20 winter season. 

Last Season, the Lady Lions had an overall record of 5 wins, 10 losses, and 5 ties with the league record of 4 wins, 8 losses, and 2 ties. This season the lady lions will be competing in the BVAL, Mt. Umunhum league with a relatively young team since most of the team consist of underclass and only 5 seniors. But one of the captains, Karen Romo, said, “Having only 5 seniors doesn’t put us at a disadvantage, our underclassmen are highly skilled players that are a huge support on the team.” 

This has shown to be true, the underclassmen are big contributors to the team. Freshman Kennedy Schoennauer scored 4 of the 5 goals scored by Lincoln in her debut game against the Dons. Keep it up, and GO LIONS!
