Big Bone 2015: Photos from Lincoln’s 18th consecutive win
On Thanksgiving this year our annual Big Bone game was a successful win! Our Lincoln Lions played a good game that ended with a score of 7-0, beating San Jose High for the 18th year in a row. Lincoln scored the touchdown in the third quarter when Esteban Mosqueda carried the ball into the endzone and Aldin Besirevic made the score seven with a field goal.
Although Lincoln won, the team had a hard time trying to get a touchdown on the scoreboard. The game during the first three quarters could have gone either way, for Lincoln or for San Jose High. Both teams had many fumbles and incomplete plays, so no one really knew who was going to take the big bone home this year. But the bleachers were full and the crowd was waiting for a win, and so our lions delivered!
