Boys Volleyball Senior Night
A cheering audience, intensity, and good sportsmanship were all part of the Lincoln’s boys senior night volleyball game. It was in the gym at 7:30pm during the 27th of April. The Lincoln’s boys volleyball game against Pioneer was a very intense match compared to their previous matches. The audience all cheered and stood up to hype up the players.
The Lions ended up taking a loss, but they played their hearts out. This volleyball match was longer than other matches they played this year. Lincoln went to a set of 5 with Pioneer and lost by 2 points according to Joshua Rosete, a player on the team.
The game determined if they will go to CCS playoffs to compete. Unfortunately, with their loss to Pioneer, the Lions will not make the playoffs.
Joshua Rosete, Junior at Lincoln said, “our performance was wise on the court and we worked hard, but there were minor mistakes that we could have fixed.”
The boys varsity volleyball record stands now at 8-4, leaving the Lions with one more game left in the season. Their last game will be on May 6, so make sure you come and cheer on the boys volleyball team at their final game against Oak Grove at Oak Grove.
