The Lions season has started up! With a 4 and 2 record, the team seems to be on the right track. “A lot of promise in this team” a proud coach Madden told Lion Tales. On February 2nd the Lions played the Los Gatos Cats tying them 3-3.

Over the Ski Week Break the Lions played Valley Christian, beating them 3-2. This was the first time in Lincoln’s history beating a WCAL team. A few days later on February 24, they lost against Archbishop Mitty 13-2

In their most recent game they lost against the Gunderson Grizzlies by a score of 14-4. On March fourth, the Lions played a double header against Summit Rainier. Beating them both times 26-3 and 10-3. Hoping to carry that momentum, the team looks  forward to their next home game against the Independence 76ers, March 7th at 3:30.

Some impressive stats for the beginning of the season belong to Ernesto Fernandez with a .800 batting average, Rolando Hernandez with a .333 batting average and Bryan Pantoja with a .500 batting average.
