New Teacher Profile: Meet Ms. Gordon
Another school year has ended, which means new teachers come in to replace teachers who have retired, left, or gone to pursue another career. Room 71, formerly holding AP Biology, now holds a new biology teacher, Ms. Sierra Gordon. An alumnus of UC Santa Barbara, Ms. Gordon comes to the Bay Area in search of new opportunities and fresh starts.
Lincoln is not a school entirely new to her. When asked why she chose Lincoln as the place to start a new chapter in life, she smiled and said, “oh, that’s easy.” She wanted to be in a familiar area she knew someone in. She remembers the times her dance team came to face off against Lincoln’s dance program.
The people at Lincoln are familiar, too. Mr. Lynskey, in his second year as dance instructor at Lincoln, was Ms. Gordon’s old dance teacher. Ms. Gordon enjoys spending time with her dog, Chewy, and going to sleep at 8 p.m.
