Lion Tales

Andrew Yslava is a senior at Abraham Lincoln High School in San Jose, Calif. Born and raised in the heart of the Silicon Valley, he spends his spare time writing short fiction pieces, reading 20th-century literature, and playing video games, especially Battlefield 1 and Call of Duty. One time, he played a game of Battlefield 1 that lasted over 115 minutes straight. He chose journalism as a way to experiment with different forms of writing. He also chose it as a way to express himself and for his love of news and information.
