VIDEO: Mr. Kappia Gives a Presentation to Students About “Things Fall Apart”
This is a presentation on the novel, “Things Fall Apart” by Chinua Achebe. The presentation was given to all AP English Literature classes and some English 3/4 classes at Lincoln High School by Mr. Joseph Kappia. Mr. Kappia teaches ERWC and English 3/4 at Lincoln. The presentation touched upon African history and the ways of life before African imperialism. The audience was made up of Mrs. Melendez’s AP English Literature students and Mr. Kappia’s own students. This presentation serves to expand knowledge about the traditional way of life in Africa and helps students connect more with the current novel they’re reading.
