On September 6th the Lions went against Willow Glen in what has been called by some “The Battle of the Rose Gardens.”

At Willow Glen the JV game started at 4. Jv won the final score was 28-7.
Varsity Gets the “W.”
The Varsity game started at 7.
After the first quarter Lions lead 7-0.
In the second quarter Willow Glen answered back making the score 16-21 Lions still leading into the half time.
Half time score 28-16 Lions still leading strong
Final score of the game was 40-16, Lions for the win.
