Last night our Lady Lions were able to leave their last home game against Overfelt with a win! The final score of the game was 51-27.

Our seniors, Hannah Pham #5, Melanie Reis #14, and Alejandra Perez #3, played an amazing game. Congratulations to you girls I’m sure you guys will be missed next season!

Now for a quarter by quarter recap of the game:

The first quarter of the game the Lions came out determined to take the win and all work together to help their seniors leave their gym feeling accomplished about the entire season. Lincoln only let Overfelt score two points, one basket shot, in this quarter while the were able to put 10 up on the scoreboard.

By half time the score was 21-11 with Lincoln still in the lead.

Top players of the first half would have to go out to Savannah Jones (8 points), Hannah Pham (7 points) and Vanessa Azure (6 points).

The second half of the game was too easy for the Lady Lions.

Lincoln scored another easy 14 points while Overfelt put up 10. Overfelt sure was working hard trying to catch up to our Lady Lions.

The final quarter of the game went was such an excitement to watch for both the audience and the team. Coaches and seniors dedicated this quarter to all the freshman on the Varsity team. Freshman of the quarter were Alyssa Bueno #2, Ariana Chavira #12,  Olivia Brashears #22, Vanessa Azure #21 and Janet Jones #23.
