23  year old Jamie Anderson from South lake Tahoe was on her game today taking the First Olympic gold medal in women’s slope style snowboarding competition on Sunday February 9th scoring an amazing 95.25 on her last run making America 2 for 2 in slope style snowboarding.

She performed flawlessly on the beginning rails then set up a perfect performance  landing the following: cab 720 jump with a grab,following a switchback 540 with a grab. Then to finish it off with a bang Jamie pulls off a front side  720.

Leaving the Olympics with not only a gold medal but an award for “Best Female action Sports Athlete” of the year Jamie Anderson leaves the Olympics a huge success.
