Badminton Recap: Gilroy Mustangs vs. Lincoln Lions
The Lions faced the Mustangs at home for the first time on Tuesday, March 25, and simply dominated the game. The Lions only lost 2 out of 15 matches that night and didn’t leave any room for error.
Each team or single competitor was fully prepared to compete and win, practicing hard before the game and showing it during game time. A victory in badminton is not a team victory as it is a 1 v. 1 or 2 v. 2 sport. The winner of each match is whoever gets to 21 points first. The Lions took a 4-2 victory as a whole. They plan on keeping up the wins and bringing our badminton teams all the way to victory.
Be sure to support our badminton team on Tuesday, April 1, at San Jose High School. Good luck, Lions!
