Sharks Dominate The L.A. Kings

The Sharks took a bite out of the L.A. Kings with a not only a victory on Thursday, but also another step closer to taking 1st place in the Pacific division over the Anaheim Ducks.

The Sharks showed great teamwork and motivation, prevailing over the Kings with a 2 to 1 lead. Jordan Nolan scored the first and only goal that the Kings would score. Trailing by a point, the Sharks tied up the game midway through the 2nd period. On a power play, Joe Thornton won a left circle face-off and sent the puck flying to Brent Burns, who blasted the puck into the net. About 5 minutes later, the Sharks took a 2 to 1 lead over the Kings after Logan Couture recovered a rebound behind the net and shot a wraparound goal from the left side.
