Jacob Muniz: College Bound on Soccer Scholarship
April 4, 2014 during lunch in the Lincoln main gym our fellow student Jacob Muniz signed a letter expressing his intent to play soccer at Chaminade University in Hawaii.
The captain of Lincoln’s soccer team played an outstanding season with his team for the last time in his high school career. Jacob says “I am excited for the challenge ahead and it is a huge weight off my shoulders to be off to college, I am also excited to be studying in a new environment.”
The gym was filled with Jacob’s family and friends all there to congratulate him on his scholastic and athletic achievements. With some touching and encouraging words from coach Kevin Collins and Matthew Hewitson, the entire Lincoln faculty and staff is excited to see our fellow Lion make us proud at the collegiate level.
