Sharks in 5: Sharks Look to Finish Kings at Home
The Sharks have really proven their hard work and dedication pays off when they beat the L.A Kings for the 3rd time in a row in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. In the first game, the Sharks won 6-3 when they took an easy victory over the Kings scoring 5 consecutive goals before ththe Kings scored 1. The Kings seemed to be struggling to get their hands on the puck with the Sharks short clean passes and fast movements that really made the puck flow smoothly.
The 2nd playoff game started with Kings getting a 2-0 lead over the Sharks in the first period, but by the end of the 3rd period, the Sharks were dominating them again by scoring 7 unanswered goals. The kings would not score for the rest of the game.
The third playoff game against the Kings was a close, intense game. The Kings managed to keep the score tied all the way up to overtime but couldn’t hold on when Patrick Marleau shot the puck right past goalie Jonathan Quick to make the score 4-3 for their third victory in the playoffs.
The Sharks next game against the Kings takes place on April 24 so be sure to tune in and look for updates on their game.
