Baseball Wins BVAL, West Valley Divison Title!
Our boys varsity baseball team is doing an amazing job this season with a record of 22-1. They have been playing hard and consistently throughout the season, only losing once the entire season.
With the win against Gunderson last night with a score of 9-1; Lincoln is taking league champions for this season! Great job Lions.
The Sophomore players are all being starters for the season, they’re consistent in their game and all have that athletic drive to take the title they clearly deserve for this season. Our Senior players are also striving to get their class onto the Lincoln Baseball banner.
Lincoln’s only freshman on variety baseball and starting catcher Robert Najar is showing his team that he is fully capable of playing with the upperclassmen and is doing his part in carrying his team throughout the season.
Our two starting pitchers Sophomores Robert Zamora and Andrew Shafer are pitching great games. Zamora with his killer change-ups and Shafer with his impossibly fast fastballs are making it tough for the opposing teams to get their hits into the game.
Lincoln will now go on to play in a CCS series. The opposing teams will be announced in a meeting including all of the league champions this Saturday.
Good luck and congratulations to the Lincoln boys baseball on making it this far in their season! The entire Lincoln student body is excited for you guys!
