VIDEO: Seagulls at Lincoln
Why are there seagulls at Lincoln?
Most of the time it’s the students fault for all the trash on the floor. But have you ever though it might not only be the students littering around the campus. In fact some of the seagulls at Lincoln dive into the trash bin and fish out any thing appetizing to their eyes. It’s not only seagulls that are terrorizing this school, pigeons and crows are all conspiring in this effort.
Earlier in the year, while waiting for my teacher to arrive to his class, there was a student walking by and was almost struck in the head with a stale bagel that a seagull had dropped. Last year I was standing around in the quad watching a performance when all of a sudden some one tapped my shoulder, but there was no one behind me and then I felt something slimy and then I knew a bird just pooped on my shoulder. Not to pin it all on the birds, but the students should be held accountable for all the trash laying around after lunch, thus attracting all of the birds to Lincoln as an invitation to eat lunch.
This short film shows some of the various actions that seagulls do at Lincoln High School. From eating lunch to flying by causing mayhem during lunch. These birds have adapted to eating the left over trash left out after lunch or brunch.
