Lincoln Quad Mural Project

The quad is bland, lets admit it. There’s nothing to look at besides concrete, gum, and sometimes a bit of trash. That’s gonna change soon, however. Daniel Cervantes, a Junior here at Lincoln, wants to make a mural for the quad floor, so you even have something to look at when you “accidentally” drop trash on the ground. Lion Tales asked Daniel some questions about the mural, and here’s what he had to say:

What specifically is this project? “This will be a quad floor mural using paint – probably situated in the center of the quad.”

When is this going to happen? “It’ll probably take place after the district is able to approve the idea – sometime after March.”

How long should it take to complete? “It’ll take about one weekend, with all the help we have.”

Speaking of which, will anyone be allowed to help with this, maybe get community service hours? “We don’t really need any help, we have N.A.H.S., as well as the help of Eddie Gonzales. It’s big, but we don’t need too many people.”

Are you the one in charge? “Yeah, I’ll be in charge”

Thank you, any other things you want to say? “Well, if you really want something to be changed, you gotta put in the effort yourself.”

Lion tales will be covering the progress of the mural throughout. Stay tuned!
