Club Day 2015: A Sample of Clubs

On Tuesday September 15th, students got to enjoy the always fun club day. There was quite a lot of food that was being sold by the clubs to gather attention. Lion Tales interviewed a select few of the many clubs participating with the following questions:

  1. Why should people join your club?
  2. What is your club’s overall goal?
  3. What is your message to Lincoln high school?

Club #1 League of Lincoln: Ryan Weber

  1. “People should join our club because we want to gather a community of people with a common interest which is League of Legends.”
  2. “Our goal is similar to why people to join and that is so people can have a common interest that they share with others in the community and feel comfortable while doing it.”
  3. “Our message to the school is a quote from the character Vi from League of Legends “Punch first, ask questions later”.”

Club #2 Fashion Club: Giovanni Flores

  1. “People should join our club since it gives people a great feeling when they meet with friends and it makes you participate in a community.”
  2. “Our goal is to show our artistic abilities and be recognized as a national honors society.”
  3. “Our message is that we aspire to inspire!”

Club #3 Sophomore Class of 2018 club: Miyu Nakajima & Blake Panian

  1. “Sophomores should join so they can get involved in events and make friends.”
  2. “Our goal is to get every sophomore involved and excited for school events like Little Bone.”
  3. “Our message to Lincoln is don’t work until you’re tired, work until you’re done.”
