Viva Calle SJ

 

Viva Calle SJ was a nice family and community event. Many families and individuals came out to walk, skate, bike, etc. Some streets of San Jose were closed off for this event. The streets were First street then split into Market street, Willow street, Keys street, Story Road, part of E St John street, part of W St John street, and part of Goodyear. Many family and friends came out to spend time with family and some people came out ride for a cause to help out people in the community and help prevent cancer. Even though there was some intersections open for cars to cross like Vine st, First st, second st, and Almaden st, etc. There were four major Checkpoints. At st James park, the intersection between First and Second street, Emma Prusch Park, and Parque de los Pobladores. Bicycle Express, La Dolce Velo, and San Jose Bicycles were at each park and had a free bicycle repair stand to help fix bikes within the community.
