This year’s Little Bone Spaghetti Dinner took place in Lincoln’s Main gym from 5:30 to 7:30 pm, on Wednesday, November 18, 2015.  The dinner was held to support the boys’ JV football team, while the money raised will be used to fundraise for the cheerleaders’ competition.

Several parents, football players, coaches, teachers, and cheerleaders attended the dinner, and while they ate their food, three former football players came to speak during the dinner. They spoke about the values the football program provided for them, and how it had impacted them. They all spoke about how well their transition from high school to the real world has been so far, as opposed to their friends that were not involved in the program. The others simply did not have the ambition necessary to move forward in a positive direction afterwards. They thanked the coaches for they had done and then went to take a seat. The JV football team attentively listened to them speak, and afterwards were able to go into the locker room and individually speak with them.

When interviewed, some of the people at the dinner were asked what they liked about the spaghetti dinner, they responded with “I feel like everybody just got together in support for the JV team and it is a great experience” and “It is so much fun, and you meet a lot of new people, while helping support our JV team.”

After the speeches and the dinner, the people enjoyed their cake dessert and spent their time interacting with each other. Overall, the spaghetti dinner provided much support for the Little Bone Game that took place they next day, on Thursday, November 19.
