Lincoln Celebrates Mexican Independence Day
On a hot Friday afternoon, September 16, 2016, approximately 200 students and administrators gathered around the quad during lunch for a special performance from Lincoln’s Performing Arts. Xotchil, Flokoriko, and Mariachi with the invited guests The Convertibles did a themed performance. The four groups collaborated in honor of the Mexican Independence Day which is the time in history when Mexico defeated Spain in 1810.
