You can Talk the Talk, but can you Chalk the Chalk?

The Luna Park Chalk Art Festival celebrated its 9th anniversary on Saturday, September 17th. This annual festival hosted a variety of artists, vendors, and musicians for a day of fun at Backesto Park.

Many artists were veterans who had displayed their work at the festivals in years past, while others were fresh faces on the chalk art scene. Groups like San Jose Taiko and Trader Joe’s were among those who made repeat appearances this year.

This year, over 150 pieces of art were featured, and a select few creators were highlighted as Inspiring Artists. Stunning multi-color works lined the sidewalk, and festival-goers were able to walk through this huge display, interacting with the artists themselves.
