Our Steps 2016; Lights, Camera, ACTION!
The Lincoln Dance Alliance, Inc. and the Lincoln Dance Department put on ‘Our Steps 2016’, which turned out to be successful. Students got the chance to choreograph their own dances for the show. Different levels of groups from Beginning, Intermediate, Advanced, Folklorico, Xochitl, LHD, and Convertible dancers performed. Our Steps 2016 had three showings: Thursday, October 13th and Friday, October 14th at 7:30 PM as well as Saturday October 15th at 2:00 PM in the Lincoln High School Black Box Theater.
The show had two acts with a 15 minute intermission in between. Snacks and beverages were sold on the night of the performances. The first Song performed by Intermediate and Advanced Dancers was ‘Suicide Squad’, choreographed by Kaitlyn Scadina Mansfield.
This year Our Steps was focused on movies. Students got the chance to pick any movie they wanted and perform it.
